Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MultiQuiz stores when you play, why it stores it, and what control you have over it. Plain language, no lawyer required.

MultiQuiz is a multiplayer quiz game published by Aprajati Siuli. For anything in this policy, or to ask for your data back, write to aprajatisiuli002@gmail.com.

📦 What we collect

• Account. Your email address and display name if you sign in with Google, or an anonymous ID if you play as a guest.
• Profile. The nickname and avatar emoji you choose.
• Gameplay. Your scores, wins, games played, and the rooms you join — including the answers you submit during a match.
• Friends. Your friend code, and the list of players you add or who add you.
• Notifications. A device token issued by Google, only if you turn reminders on. Turning them off discards it.
• Device settings such as your sound preference and chosen colour theme, which stay on your device and are never uploaded.

🚫 What we don't collect

No contacts, no location, no photos, no microphone, no advertising identifiers. We don't run ads, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

▶️ How it's used

Purely to run the game: to show the other players in your room who has answered, to score matches, to let friends invite each other, and to rank the global leaderboard.

Your nickname, avatar and points are visible to other players — that's the point of a leaderboard — but your email address never is.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

☁️ Where it lives

Game data is stored in Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Messaging — which processes it on our behalf under Google's own security and privacy terms. Signing in with Google shares your email address and display name with us through Google Sign-In.

Google operates servers worldwide, so your data may be processed outside your own country under Google's standard contractual protections. Traffic between your device and Firebase is encrypted in transit.

Rooms you abandon are deleted automatically after 24 hours.

⏳ How long we keep it

Your account, profile and stats are kept for as long as your account exists, so your leaderboard position and badges survive between sessions. Abandoned game rooms are removed after 24 hours. When you ask for deletion, everything tied to your account goes with it.

🗑️ Deleting your account and data

To have your account and everything attached to it deleted — profile, scores, match history, friends and friend code — email aprajatisiuli002@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, or with your in-app nickname and friend code if you play as a guest. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

You may also ask us to delete your data while keeping the account, in which case your stats reset to zero.

Guest accounts are tied to the device. Logging out of one deletes your access to those stats permanently, and we have no way to restore them.

⚖️ Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, or receive it in a portable form. Change your nickname and avatar yourself any time from the Profile tab; for anything else, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days, free of charge.

If you think we've mishandled your data you're entitled to complain to your local data protection authority.

🧒 Children

MultiQuiz is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us any, contact us and we'll delete it.
